Worship Council
Our Worship Council is made up of two children from each class, who meet half termly to help plan and lead Collective Worship in school. They take ideas from their classes and help prepare resources, as well as organising the popular worship song vote for Friday's assembly!
Our Worship Leaders are appointed from Year 6. This is a special role, in which children take on the responsibility of helping to set up the church for our school services, learning about the different roles and jobs people do to make a church run.
Collective Worship takes place every morning in our school assemblies.
Once a half term, the Worship Councillors take over and run their own Kids Own Worship morning in their classes, designed and delivered by the children. They choose a theme collectively and then plan storytelling, games, songs and prayers which they think their class will enjoy.
