Digital Phonics Library

The ELS scheme we use for phonics is part of a suite of Early Reading material from Oxford Owl, whose books all follow broadly the same order of sounds progression. 

The book your child brings home from school will be the one most exactly matched to their most recent learning in phonics, however if you would like to supplement this with other reading books or re-read previous books to consolidate and revise learning, then you can access a wide range of levelled books via the Oxford Owl digital library below. 

How do I know which level my child is on? 

If your child has a school reading book published by Oxford, it will tell you which book band level they are reading at, usually somewhere on the back (see below.) 

If the book your child is reading is from a different publisher, the levels may not align. It will have been matched by your child's teacher to the right Oxford level, but you will need to ask the teacher which Oxford level they are on to use the Digital Library accurately.
