The governing body at St Mary's CE Primary School is looking for a reliable, proactive and organised Clerk to Governors.
This is a permanent, casual contract. Hours of work are typically 10 - 20 hours per school term, to include attendance at 7 meetings per year (currently 5-7pm on one Thursday per half term, plus an additional annual meeting each September) and preparatory / follow up work. With the exception of meeting times, hours can be worked flexibly at a time that is convenient for you.
As clerk, you will be a key member of the team with access to regular training and advice to support you in the role. Main duties include preparing and sharing minutes and agendas, ensuring record keeping and compliance. Previous experience as a clerk would be desirable but not essential - full training can be provided.
